Clive Plant has worked within the architectural finishing industry since 1981 gaining an extensive knowledge of the commercial, contractual and quality control aspects of this industry. Clive Plant & Associates was formed in October 1992.

Over 2500 independent inspections have been completed in 14 different countries ranging from Canada to Malaysia. A significant number of my inspections are now undertaken within mainland Europe.

I undertake more acceptance inspections than any other person or organisation within this specialised field.

I am a professional member of the Institute of Metal Finishing and have an honours degree in law. Clive Plant & Associates is a sustaining member of the Institute of Metal Finishing and a subscribing member of the British Standards Institute. I maintain professional indemnity insurance cover and public liability insurance of £1 million.

I am approved to undertake independent acceptance inspections by all of the UK's main specification writers and leading architectural practices.

I have over 380 clients represented by property developers, investment funds, architects, main contractors, engineering consultants, fabricators and suppliers of architectural components.
