Important information:
The British Standard applicable for powder coating for the last 24 years is currently being replaced with a new harmonised Standard. This change has significant implications for specifiers, fabricators and applicators. Details of the new Standard are given in the four web pages titled BS EN 12206-1. For the moment, BS 6496: 1984 is still 'current' and should be specified in preference to BS EN 12206-1.
