Important information:

The British Standard applicable for powder coating for the last 26 years is not now being replaced with the harmonised EN Standard. For the moment, BS 6496: 1984 was confirmed on December and should be specified in preference to BS EN 12206-1.   

NBS Z31 specifications now require conformance to either BS 6496 or EN 12206-1 and also Qualicoat. These are three different, conflicting specifications for powder coating.

It is strongly recommended that you only specify or issue orders requiring conformance to one of these specifications.

EN 12206-1 is NOT currently recommended to be specified. Reasons are given on the data pages located at the top left side of this page.
